Our Accolades

Below we feature just a few of the positive comments clients have made about JobBag as well as links to editorial pieces that mention Instinct Systems and the software we provide.

I wanted to draw your attention to the excellent support that we have had from Michael - and how he responded on the same day in a situation of dire need. This kind of service is greatly appreciated, as is his professionalism and enthusiasm at every turn.

Graham Hardy
Managing Director - Design Street Pty Ltd

JobBag has certainly fulfilled our expectations. We now have a robust costing system which is easy to use, links seamlessly to the financial ledger, and enables the delivery of any number of useful management information reports. I would also be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge the dedication of our implementation consultant, Jane Van Dyk, who regularly went that extra mile to get us up and running smoothly. Jane’s cheerful persistence – at times, perhaps dogged determination - in making sure all our teething problems were sorted out (and our business did generate quite a few issues she hadn’t seen before!) was exemplary and was a major factor in our satisfactory implementation.

Brian Christopher
Finance Director – Cato Purnell Partners

Ogilvy HealthworldOgilvy Healthworld

Ogilvy Healthworld is one of the world's most dynamically engaged healthcare communications groups, providing strategic, creative and tactical solutions to clients across all major regions, covering over 30 world markets. Industry veteran Mark Bailey, Managing Director of Ogilvy met David Blaymires when JobBag was in its inception and was instrumental in introducing JobBag to every agency he has been associated with since 1994.

Horniak and Canny

Horniak and Canny, a small Sydney print-based branding and design agency approached Instinct Systems when they decided it was time to grow and expand the business. The intricacies of expanding and the pitfalls associated with managing increased staff and larger projects were issues that the company were concerned about. Instinct Systems implemented JobBag throughout the growing agency beyond the existing accounting function. Once applied throughout the business, the system helped the agency expand sustainably and without any loss of profit. The business grew from strength to strength up to 35 users, until Horniak and Canny was sold to Enterprise as a profitable and sustainable business.

303 Advertising303 Advertising

303 is one of Australia's most successful independent creative agencies, with offices in Sydney and Perth. In 2002 the company approached Instinct Systems to enquire about switching from its traditional advertising agency system, which dealt only with accounting and media based issues, to a more creative job management system. Under their traditional advertising agency system, the company felt it struggled to access required information quickly and easily and needed a holistic system that could access all areas of business management. The JobBag software was installed providing 303 with the tools to run, track and access information concerning the progress of any job at any point in time. The net result was that for an agency that started with 22 users of the software in 2002 the software is now used by more than 50 users across five companies and this group is rapidly expanding.

Gallery GroupGallery Group

The Gallery Group was established in 2000 offering advertising, communications, branding, digital, public relations and promotional services. With offices in Sydney, Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast the company has been expanding rapidly. The Gallery Group first approached Instinct Systems in 2001 after their accountant suggested the look into the benefits of JobBag. Once installed the software solution gave the company control over their job costing process. It also gave them insight into how their business was running and where they needed help. The company now has 43 users across four locations around Australia and all information is available to be shared through the network the software has provided. Jay McAlister of the Gallery Group says he could see the benefits of the JobBag system from the start. When we installed JobBag over four years ago it was just used as an invoicing and tracking system. Since then we have incorporated JobBag over time to deliver more and more. Now, whenever we sit down to go through to financial performance of the business, we highlight more opportunities to leverage information out of the ever expanding system.

Cato Purnell PartnerCato Purnell Partners

Based in Melbourne the company asked Instinct Systems to implement JobBag as a system that would also allow them to manage each and every job as it progressed. Once JobBag was installed the company could analyse any job at any point of the process and refer the results to the accounting information also provided. This simplified business process supported unprecedented growth for one of Australia's pre-eminent design firms.
